Festival Memorandum in Torino

Friday 27 June in Turin will see the inauguration of the Memorandum festival in which the photographic exhibition 'On the Trails of the Glaciers - Alaska, Caucasus and Karakorum' will be shown as a special guest.

The Stilelibero Cultural Association and the Turin Regional Museum of Natural Sciences inaugurate the Turin leg of Memorandum, the Festival of Historical Photography, on Friday 27 June, 6 pm. From 27 June to 20 July, the 4th edition of the festival dedicated to historical photography and the archives that guard it presents 14 new exhibitions from archives of the highest level and all with free admission. A "photographic tour" that started in Biella and now arrives in Turin at the Palazzo Giunta Regionale del Piemonte, and will later touch upon Rome and Mantua.

Effects of climate change in Alaska, Caucasus and Karakorum more than a hundred years later, with an accurate photographic comparison of the state of the glaciers starting from the historical images of the first photographers and explorers.
