“On the trail of the glaciers” will be the protagonist of the live streaming event organised by the historic Ferrino Outdoor company to recount the more than 12 years of expeditions of the photographic-scientific project, which has visited the most important mountain glaciers on Earth, with the aim of disclosing the effects of climate change through the observation of the variation of the glacial masses over the last 150 years.

The project, based on photographic comparison, carries a strong communicative power. This, together with the results of scientific research, represents a contribution to the development of a greater awareness of the impact of human activities on the climate.

During the evening Fabiano Ventura, creator of the project “On the trail of the glaciers” and Riccardo Scotti, glaciologist and member of the Glaciological Service of Lombardy, will talk with journalist Gian Luca Gasca and Anna Ferrino.

The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday 19 May at 6.30 p.m. (Italian time) and will last 45 minutes.
