Documentary filmmaking is a strategic and highly effective tool for exploring the complexity of scientific and environmental topics through a rigorous, accessible, and narratively compelling audiovisual language.
The association develops and co-produces television and auteur documentaries in collaboration with production companies and directors, with an international outlook.
The selection of production companies and directors is currently underway for the documentary dedicated to the Shifting Sea project.
The documentaries in the On the Trail of the Glaciers series revisit the most compelling moments of the project, highlighting the work of the expeditions and exploring the topic of climate change in depth. Broadcast on some of the most important international networks (ZDF, ARTE, RTSI, RAI, NHK), they have been screened and awarded at numerous environmental and mountain film festivals. Each documentary has a runtime of 52 minutes, is available in full HD, and can be screened on television as well as at festivals and conferences.
