“On the Trail of the Glaciers” at the “Vette in Vista” event

On Friday 29 January 2010 at 9.15 p.m., as part of the mountain and exploration film festival “Vette in Vista”, organised by the Associazione Stefano Zavka in Terni, Fabiano Ventura will present his project “On the Trail of the Glaciers” to the public.
The evening will begin with the screening of the trailer of the documentary, made in Karakorum by SD Cinematografica during the project’s first expedition. This will be followed by a conversation with the participation of Luigi Bignami, geologist and scientific journalist, Prof. Claudio Smiraglia, Professor at Milan State University and former President of the Italian Glaciological Committee, and Fabiano Ventura, mountain photographer and creator of the project.
Furthermore, on Friday 29 January 2010 at 5.30 p.m., Fabiano Ventura will hold a seminar dedicated to mountain photography, during which one of his 24-minute slideshows entitled “Orizzonti Verticali” will be screened.
