On Friday 7 March at 12 noon, the panel ‘Reality and Fiction: Climate Change in the World of Communication’ will take place as part of the 2025 edition of the ‘False Myths about Renewable Energies’ project at the Rimini Trade Fair.
Several journalists will participate in the panel, including Emanuele Bompan, member of the Macromicro association and Editor-in-Chief of Materia Rinnovabile, who will present the media impact of our projects with the projection of some slides. The panel will be introduced and moderated by Raimondo Orsini, Director of the Fondazione per lo Sviluppo Sostenibile.
The ‘False Myths about Renewables’ project tackles misinformation about renewable energies, analysing the most widespread prejudices that hold back the energy transition and trying to stimulate a debate based on solid and verified data and information. During the event, which brings together experts, photographers, journalists and creatives, we will try to explore how the media and other communication channels affect public perception, why and how they often convey false myths, and strategies to promote correct information.
