In the April issue of National Geographic Italia magazine, 10 pages were dedicated to the project “On the Trail of the Glaciers”. The most evocative and impactful photographic comparisons, selected for publication, are accompanied by the beautiful words of writer Enrico Camanni.
“We are proud to publish on the National Geographic again; we have the opportunity to spread the results of our project to a wide audience” says Fabiano Ventura, president of the Macromicro association “the project, in fact, does not end here, after so many years of hard work in the field and expeditions all over the world, we are working on the second phase that is perhaps the most important: the dissemination of the results through publications, conferences, educational projects for schools and the programming of the exhibition “Earth’s Memory” at the most prestigious museums in the world. In fact, we want to spread the results achieved in the hope of contributing to developing an ever-increasing awareness of environmental issues.”
As of today, the new issue of National Geographic Italia can be purchased on newsstands. In addition to the article dedicated to the project, it features an interesting in-depth study on demographic imbalances, a topic directly interconnected with climate issues.
