Dialogues on the climate crisis and launch of the book "Un mutamento reversibile”

On the 27th of October 2023, in the civic space "Le Tre Porte" in Rieti, there will be a presentation of the book by Roberto Venafro entitled: "Un mutamento reversibile. La crisi climatica dal punto di vista delle Conferenze delle Parti delle Nazioni Unite".

The event, organised by the Campagna Sabina social and community cooperative and the Slow Food Presidium "Le Tre Porte", will launch an important dialogue on the climate crisis and its variability, with a privileged view of the international negotiations held every year under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). The debate will retrace the long road travelled by international diplomacy over a quarter of a century.

Among the participants will be Lucia Alberti, archaeologist and CNR researcher, Roberto Lorenzetti, former director of the Rieti State Archives, Giuseppe Rinaldi, managing director of Ancitel Energy and Environment, and Fabiano Ventura, landscape photographer and president of the Macromicro association, whose project "On the trail of the glaciers" will show the effects of climate change on ecosystems.

The event will be introduced by Laura Ciacci, co-founder of the social and community cooperative "Campagna Sabina", and moderated by Paola Rita Nives Cuzzocrea, renowned journalist.
